The Project Owner

The operating and funding entity of the project is the Ministry of Justice.

Mission of the Ministry of Justice

The primary mission of the Ministry of Justice is to ensure the effective organization and functioning of the courts and to develop policies aimed at protecting human rights and individual freedoms.

To achieve these objectives, the Ministry:

a) Provides the necessary resources to meet the organizational and operational needs of the courts, while adhering to Article 87 of the Constitution, which ensures the personal and functional independence of judges.

b) Oversees the alignment of domestic legal rules with international and European Union law.

c) Ensures the reinforcement and promotion of the protection of human rights and fundamental freedoms.

d) Implements projects and programs for the development, promotion, and expansion of e-justice as a strategic goal. In this context, the Minister establishes project management teams by decision to coordinate and control, manage, monitor, and ensure the operation and expansion of these programs.
